So, we know for a fact that anchor bolts and construction fasteners are seen as two separate entities.  Though, there are some similarities between the two.

Both anchor bolts and construction fasteners have to meet government requirements and quality standards.  In the anchor bolt industry both A.B.s and C.F.s have to rigorous testing in order to ensure they are completely safe and up to regulation standards. This includes testing the shear values and tensile making sure that the anchor bolt or construction fastener doesn’t immediately break upon force and/or over time due to fatigue.

Construction fasteners ultimately determine the life and usefulness of several different objects including some but not limited to the following:
- Machines
- Factories
- Vehicles
- Residential Constructions
